Nak Won is one of our favorite Korean restaurant. Every time we have dinner here – I would always go for their famous pork bone soup. I can’t help it – if I’m here – I have to have it. The staff here are very friendly and whenever you need their attention – they have a button for you to press to get them. I think every restaurant should have this – so it makes the customer’s life easier.

Can’t forget the numerous appetizers they have eh! I usually get refills for the Korean noodles and potatoes. They are my favorite! They refill for free eh!

My favorite. Usually during the summer – I ask for less spicy but during the winter – I just have it regular. I guess because winter – its more cold and summer is too hot. I’m so weird ain’t I?

Hubby’s all time favorite! When he walks into a Korean restaurant – I know what he’s gonna order without looking at the menu. I guess we both just stick to our favorites eh? What’s your favorite dish in a Korean restaurant??? I think I should try other dishes too!

Rolling Pot @ Kennedy Rd & Steeles Ave

This is actually my second time at Rolling Pot – this time I went with a bunch of friend for Christmas celebration. So it means – this is a belated post from a month ago! I thought it would be nice to have a warm and hot Christmas – so hot pot is the way to go. The special thing about this restaurant is – they give each one of us individual pots. So no need to share a pot with everyone. I find it more clean this way.

See you get your very own pot and you get to pick two soup bases. There’s 5 free ones to pick from and the rest – you gotta pay extra if you want. They actually have a large menu to choose from! So if you like spicy – there’s a couple ones to pick from.

YUM YUM YUM – look at all these meat balls and dumplings/wontons! My favorite. They have them in pretty large size too eh?

And more of the other choices. Each person cost about $22.00 to $23.00 for weekends – so on weekdays its probably $2 cheaper. Do make reservations because this place is darn busy during the winter! I mean – which hotpot place isn’t busy during winter season right? Everyone wants to be warm!

Since the day I know I’ve diabetes – I eat at home much more often than before. It’s hard to control what I eat at a restaurant – so its better to eat at home right? Well – I usually eat lunch at home but now I gotta have most of my dinners at home as well. I don’t mind eating at home really – but hubby is a different story. He enjoys eating out more than I do.

I love all kinds of noodles – egg noodles, rice noodles, or instant noodles. It just depends on what I’m craving that day! I usually fried an egg or boil an egg and add Korean beef slices with it. I’m low on iron – so gotta have my irons!

Nope – I didn’t get to have a piece of dessert! Actually – I haven’t had one for a long time because of gestational diabetes! Gestational diabetes is known for women to get it while pregnancy! I never thought I would have to go through something like this. Sucks to be me for the upcoming months but its okay. I gotta be determined and stick to my meal plan in order for this little chickmunk to have a healthy life. So what kind of dessert can gestational diabetes have? Share your thoughts with me here.
