If you want a fast and inexpensive lunch – this is the place to go. Lunch at $4.99 with a drink. I’m not a fan of Korean bento boxes but my husband is. The oil and amount of rice scares me. My husband and I are totally opposites – he eats twice as much as I do but doesn’t gain anything. I eat less than he does but I still do gain weight. You see the frustration? I wish my metabolism is like his – than I have nothing to worry about. Overall – lunch like this is not worth my calories but what can I say when the husband likes it?
Main Street Unionville is a busy street full of people and we love going there during summer time. It’s just nice walking outdoors after dinner time. Especially that we live 5 minutes away. This was my little Munchkin’s first time at the Firehall Confectionery – he was thrilled to see all the desserts and candies. I’m not a dessert kind of girl but their chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream is a must have! I love love love that ice cream! Thinking about it makes me crave for it. Overall – we had a lovely time that day visiting Main Street Unionville.
After a long week of work for the hubby and taking care of the Munchkin for me – it’s time for a nice drink and some nice food. We both enjoy a good dinner with cocktails. This time around – I didn’t order any cocktails – just wanna stay away from the calories for a bit. Besides – my plate of dinner was enough calories for that night.
We decided to head to Dragon Bistro at Main Street Unionville for some burgers and fish. This was our second time here but first time trying their burgers. The burger was marinated with some sorta spice that I really didn’t love. I can’t tell what spice it was but I won’t be ordering it next time. I ordered the Dragon Bistro Burger – if I remembered correctly.
Hubby ordered fish & chips. I took a few bites of his fish – it was very juicy and delicious – battered just right. Not too heavy or too light. It came with coleslaw and fries. That was our yummilicious dinner – there were no room for desserts.
Not a pizza fan but since I was chilling with the ladies for ladies night out – we had pizzs and wings at my place. I haven’t had Domino’s pizza for almost two years now. The special they have is quite a deal – $7.99 large pizza for 3 toppings. We ordered one large pizza and forty wings for 4 girls and my husband joined too. How could he not when he smell pizza right?
Forgot how much the wings were – from what I remember about $17.99 for 20 wings? Having two slices of pizza – was full already – couldn’t handle much wings in my stomach.
I’ve heard of this restaurant from a couple of our friends and this time was my first time here. Don’t know what’s all the WOW about – to me Nak Won Korean Restaurant tastes better. Maybe it’s the Korean Barbecue I didn’t try? Not worth the drive at all because there’s nothing too special about it. The appetizers suck!
Hubby’s all time favorite – like this is what he orders at every Korean restaurant. He said there’s not much ingredients and nothing special. He was quite disappointed too.
My girlfriend had fish – I took a bite of it. It just tastes like dried spicy fish and it came with a rice.
I ordered my all time favorite – Pork Bone Soup. What I usually order when I’m at a Korean Restaurant. Taste a bit different than what I usually have – a little weird on the tasting. Overall – the service was alright – we were too busy chit chatting since it was a large group of people. Next time I want to try their Korean Barbecue to see if there’s anything special about it. Other than that – we just enjoyed each others company.
