Diet diet diet – when I’m home – I restrict myself on just eating healthy food but when I’m out – I’m free. One thing I learned about diet is – never drive yourself crazy otherwise you give up easily. Weekends are my days off to eat whatever I want and however much I want. Weekdays – I’m back to my good girl mode. Since it was lunch with relatives on a weekend – I ordered one of my favorite sandwich – club sandwich at Kenny’s Delight. This was huge and I only had 1/4 of the sandwich for lunch and saved the rest for dinner. Not too bad right? At least I divided it in half.
If you want a fast and inexpensive lunch – this is the place to go. Lunch at $4.99 with a drink. I’m not a fan of Korean bento boxes but my husband is. The oil and amount of rice scares me. My husband and I are totally opposites – he eats twice as much as I do but doesn’t gain anything. I eat less than he does but I still do gain weight. You see the frustration? I wish my metabolism is like his – than I have nothing to worry about. Overall – lunch like this is not worth my calories but what can I say when the husband likes it?
After a long week of work for the hubby and taking care of the Munchkin for me – it’s time for a nice drink and some nice food. We both enjoy a good dinner with cocktails. This time around – I didn’t order any cocktails – just wanna stay away from the calories for a bit. Besides – my plate of dinner was enough calories for that night.
We decided to head to Dragon Bistro at Main Street Unionville for some burgers and fish. This was our second time here but first time trying their burgers. The burger was marinated with some sorta spice that I really didn’t love. I can’t tell what spice it was but I won’t be ordering it next time. I ordered the Dragon Bistro Burger – if I remembered correctly.
Hubby ordered fish & chips. I took a few bites of his fish – it was very juicy and delicious – battered just right. Not too heavy or too light. It came with coleslaw and fries. That was our yummilicious dinner – there were no room for desserts.
