[Vaughan] Ikea Food Court – $2.99 Haddock Meal

What a disappointment from my last meal at Onion Steak and Seafood restaurant – even this $2.99 Haddock meal at Ikea is better than that! I didn’t know there’s were a deal till I walk into their main lobby! $2.99 includes fries and two piece of haddock. It was very fresh and juicy! Very satisfying for $2.99! I wanted to order another one but hubby was not that hungry. This sure was my first time trying Haddock at Ikea! I’ll be back for more!

[Scarborough] Yogi Noodles

I’ve been to Yogo Noodles many many times and they never fail to satisfy me – even with their simplest dish. I ordered just the rice noodle “Chern Fun” this time because I wasn’t hungry enough to eat a full meal. It was simple and yet not too much food for me. Hubby ordered his all time favorite – Baked Cream Sauce on Seafood with Spaghetti. See how much seafood there were? It was a quick dinner – everything came so fast.

[Scarborough] Yogi Noodles — Inexpensive & Delicious Food

Yogi Noodle is one of my all-time-favorite. I love their food and not only is their food good – they are pretty inexpensive. This spaghetti bolognese cost $5.99 and it came with a drink too. It’s not only lunch – it’s all day long. Yogi Noodles has two locations. Scarborough location: Warden Avenue & Steeles Avenue. Richmond Hill location: Easter Beaver Creek & Highway 7.

This is what my husband ordered. His all time favorite at this restaurant – Baked Cream Sauce with Ham & Chicken Spaghetti. For $6.99 it came with a drink also.

This is what my brother-in-law ordered. Not sure about the price but it was a big bowl of noodles with lots of dumplings and veggie. Looks like a really yummy and healthy meal for sure. I highly recommend this restaurant. Not because it’s inexpensive but the food is very very tasty!

Dishcrawl Scarborough – Review & First Experience

How should I start this post off as? Let me start it off with one word – “AMAZING”! It was my very first time experiencing a Dishcrawl Event. Before coming to this event – I had no idea how it would go. Of course – I was very curious of what restaurants we’ll be going to that night but again – I had a lot of questions in my mind. Would there be enough food to fill up my tummy? Would the food be awesome? How many people would be attending this event?

Dishcrawl Ambassador, Jennifer! You gotta meet her – she has a very charming personality!

My first Dishcrawl event was FABULOUS. My husband and I had a blast that night – especially at the end of the night – the dessert was what did it! Till this date – I’m still thinking about that funnel cake we had that night! Jennifer did an awesome job selecting the four restaurants! I will definitely be going to more Dishcrawl events in the future – you really can’t miss it! That means – I’ll need to lose off the extra pounds in order to join these Dishcrawl events. There was more than enough food for my stomach – the choices of restaurants were amazing! I love how the owner introduced themselves and gave a little history about their restaurants – I’ve learned quite a lot that night!

Let me talk a little more about the Scarborough Dishcrawl event that happened on March 27th 2013 (Wednesday). We met up at Pho Metro (a Vietnamese restaurant) – I didn’t know that was our first destination at all but when we got there – we figured it was. We got our names checked off and by 7:15pm – Jennifer gave us an introduction of the event. Then all we did was eat for the rest of the night! We stayed in each restaurant about 40 minutes.

Our number 1 stop was at Pho Metro.

Overall, I love the variety of restaurants Jennifer chose. It was a memorable experience for all of us who attended. I will definitely be joining future Dishcrawl events! Don’t forget to check out Dishcrawl website to find out where the next Dishcrawl is!

[Markham] Leve Up ;; Afternoon Tea Specials

Another afternoon tea at Level Up – we basically order the same thing. Yep – we can’t resist their yummy food!

Instead of the Chicken Salad Sandwich – I ordered the Tuna Salad this time. I love it! $4.99

As always – his all time favorite. Baked Spaghetti in ham and mushroom cream sauce. $5.99

Ordered chicken wings to share at $5.99

Our munchkin just sat there and watch us enjoy our afternoon tea. He was well behaved too! I couldn’t ask for a more well behaved child. Well – he’s only good sometimes and not all. I’m sure when he can eat – he’ll be fighting over for the chicken wings.

[Scarborough] New Northern Dumpling House ;; Dumpling Review

I’m a dumpling girl and with a tray of good dumplings – I can have it every day! New Northern is now my favorite place to have dumplings. I can eat non-stop when I see these. My favorite is the leak and pork dumpling. What I love about them in this restaurant is they make it fresh and on the spot. It never disappoints and I love the freshness of every bite of it. It’s delicious and trust me – you all gotta try them out!

[Scarborough] Inada Japanese Restaurant ;; Lunch Specials & Food Pictures

Visited Inada Japanese Restaurant for the second time. Both times I ordered from their a la carte menu for lunch. I do want to try their all-you-can-eat dinner one day but I never get a chance too. Have you tried their all-you-can-eat dinners? Any suggestions? Worth it or not?

They have a huge menu for their a la carte menu but I ordered from their lunch special menu which I forgot to take a picture of.

Love how they decorated their restaurant – very modernize! Love the Japanese style dishes as well.

Had a complimentary drink – way too sweet for my liking after the first sip.

My meal came with a salad.

and a soup – this soup was full of MSG – not my favorite.

My friend’s side dish.

My friend’s meal.

My other friends meal.

This is my meal – I ordered the Salmon Teryaki with rice. It was a delicious meal and love that they came with a lot of vegetables. It was a very tasty meal overall. My meal cost $4.99 and it came with a salad, soup and a dessert too. What kind of deal is this right? I love their menu selection – worth the price!

Here’s the mango dessert – I took a spoonful and that’s it. It’s not that I don’t like it – it’s just that I’m on a strict diet and I don’t want to eat food that has a lot of sugar. I’m very healthy conscious.

[Fast Food] KFC Big Crunch Combo Review

What a naughty meal we had eh? Once in awhile is good but not three times a week for me. Especially trying to lose weight after having a baby – unhealthy food is out of the question. But once a blue moon is good. KFC is one of my favorite. Since we had the monthly coupon – hubby went to order two KFC combos to take home. Both the combos came with a burger, a fries, and a drink. From what I remember – it’s about $11.00 to $12.00 with a coupon. Not sure what the regular price is for each combo. I would say about $9.00 to $10.00 for each combo?

This is by far the best KFC burger I had. It’s the BIG CRUNCH burger – the chicken was very very tender and juicy. Usually when I eat at KFC – the chicken is either super salty or the chicken is super dry. This time was just way too perfect. The Big Crush is a HUGE burger – I was having trouble finishing the whole burger. I only had half of the fries too. It was a VERY satisfying meal !!
