Diet diet diet – when I’m home – I restrict myself on just eating healthy food but when I’m out – I’m free. One thing I learned about diet is – never drive yourself crazy otherwise you give up easily. Weekends are my days off to eat whatever I want and however much I want. Weekdays – I’m back to my good girl mode. Since it was lunch with relatives on a weekend – I ordered one of my favorite sandwich – club sandwich at Kenny’s Delight. This was huge and I only had 1/4 of the sandwich for lunch and saved the rest for dinner. Not too bad right? At least I divided it in half.
One of my faves at Hollywood Cafe is their all day breakfast. I never wake up on time for breakfast – that means I don’t have much breakfast food daily. For $4.99 I get ham and eggs, choice of pasta/noodles with meat, a bun, and either coffee or milk tea. Such good deals – where do you find that right?
Macaroni and luncheon meat was my choice – there’s 6 different choices to chose from. I love how the portion is not too much or too little. it’s just right for me. Don’t need to waste food or over eat myself.
My girlfriend had the chicken dinner special that comes with soup and drink.
Love the ice cold milk tea!
Dining out on weekends is a daily thing to our family and we love to enjoy different kinds of cuisines. This time around – we headed back to Fire Fly Steak & Seafood restaurant. Not my favorite restaurant but I can bare with it. The food isn’t bad but to me it’s just very blend.
Since a couple of Christmases ago – they had this special for $20.00 for dinner for 2. Since than – they still have it daily. Not too bad when you get a 4 course dinner with this price right? Hard to find these days. This is one of the special meals.
This is the other special 2 dinner for $20.00. Hubby is a lobster fan and he just loves the seafood here. I had this meal before – the pasta was way too much for me.
This time I had the baked tomato sauce pork chop on rice. Not bad – I could only finish half – this cost $8.99 and it’s also a 4 course dinner. The price here isn’t bad at all – I don’t know why I just don’t like the taste of food here. Hubby loves it here.
This is dessert – some sort of jello. I usually just take two bites because I want to stay away from sweet stuff that’s not worth my calories. Overall – a great dinner with the family!
Visited a new restaurant in Richmond Hill just a couple of months ago after our dentist visit. By the time we get there – it was already afternoon tea time. Even better – they have a special menu. I ordered my usual club sandwich and hubby had the wings with fries. Both came with a drink. Lunch that day was about $12.00 for the 2 of us? Food was delicious too!
Had dinner the other day at Onion Seafood and Steakhouse with the in-laws for a special celebration. For myself – I’m not a huge fan of the buffet they have. But the sizzling late does taste pretty good. I ordered the salmon steak with spaghetti – it was yumz in my tummy!
Here’s some of the desserts and fruits they have for the buffet. Not a huge selection and the quality is just so-so. That’s the reason why I don’t enjoy the buffet much – there’s nothing special. I mean – if they had special sushi rolls there – I’ll probably be visiting once a month. lol – I’m a die hard sushi fan. *hahahah*
This restaurant is located at the Peach Tree Plaza. I don’t even remember how many times this location change names by now. They keep switching owners and having new restaurant names. My in-laws visited this place for lunch one day and told us how good the curry is. Of course it got me curious too!
Our meal came with soup and drinks. To my surprised – the soup was pretty good. Not the canned made ones of course – it tasted like homemade type kind of soup. A bowl of good soup is important to me – I grew up drinking soup every single day before and after dinner. This cream soup was amazingly blended.
I ordered the curry chicken with rice – it was definitely a must order! I finished half my meal and saved the other half for lunch the next day. The curry was not spicy at all – which I love. It was just delicious curry! I’m not a curry fan but good curry is hard to come by.
Hubby ordered the minute steak in cream sauce spaghetti.
Our overall experience was quite good – hopefully this restaurant will last longer than the others. I know how hard it is to run a business these days but hang in there! Because I love that curry of yours! Amazing dinner with the husband. We left Munchkin home with the in-laws while we enjoy a fast dinner.
