Baton Rouge is one of my favorite restaurants comparing to all other restaurants. Why? It’s just because I love their overload baked potato! Something that I can’t find in another restaurant and something that I crave most of the time. It’s fattening but its so damn good!
The Prix Fix menu they had that night were awesome – a three course menu for $35.00+tax+tips. Where to find prices like that right?
One thing that disappoints me is there dessert! Every time they have a prix fix menu – all they serve is chocolate mousse. Can they at least give us some choices instead of just chocolate mousses? I was not thrilled with it. Other than the dessert – my meal was quite satisfying!
With a four hour delay – we were each granted a $10 voucher to get whatever we want at the airport. Really? Wasted four hours of my time and with only a $10 voucher? I for sure will not take Air Canada ever again. Such a disappointment – especially with having a 18 month old flying with us. Screwed up our schedule!
Since we had lunch prior entering the gates – we were not hungry at all but what to do with $30.00 right? Had to use it up before we board the plane. Ordered a tea, two soups, and chicken wings to share for the hubby while Munchkin naps. At that point – I was already pissed about the four hour delay – I can’t give any food reviews upon this restaurant at the airport.
Saigon Star has the best seafood in town! It’s been a long week for hubby and so I thought – why not have a good meal to end off a work week right? His favorites are seafood and this is the best place to bring him to since he never been here. Instead of choosing curry crab we decided on garlic butter crab. It was yummilicious and the crab had a lot of meat in it. It was a huge crab for two to eat! But we had to finish it because we didn’t want to take it home.
We also order Pineapple Fried Rice & Baked oysters in Butter Garlic sauce.
Baked/Broiled Oyster was a to die for – if we didn’t order the large crab – I probably ordered half a dozen of oysters. It was so yummy! Can’t wait to be back next time!
Quite interesting – never knew Spring Roll had a All-You-Can-Eat menu till recently. The sushi rolls and sashimi were quite unique. Sashimi were fresh and sushi rolls were delicious!
They have unique names for their sushi that I don’t remember what they are called except for the Spider Roll.
Not bad for all-you-can-eat. I do like the variety of sushi rolls they offer. Only if they have a restaurant located in Markham – I’ll be visiting more. But North York is a bit far for us to drive 40 minutes for dinner.
I love cooking for the hubby and I but sometimes I just don’t have the chance to cook. Since my mother-in-law cooks during weekdays and weekends we usually have lunches with relatives. I really don’t have a chance to cook. Unless Sunday we are free – than we’ll sleep in and just eat at home before church. Nothing fancy but it’s simple to make. Mostly – I enjoy it.
This was my first time at Super Buffet ever since the restaurant changed names. To my surprise – the sushi and sashimi selection was quite good. Can’t say decent but edible.
It was on a weekend – so they served lobster. Not my favorite – can you see the amount of oil in it? It disgusts me!
They don’t have a huge variety of selection and the quality isn’t all that great. Will I ever come back? I don’t think so unless someone picks this restaurant for a relative dinner. Not my favorite at all.
