Plot
The sudden death of the young Shunzhi Emperor (Sunny Chan) shocked the whole kingdom. The second prince, Fuquan (Kenneth Ma), was originally the successor for the throne, but Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang (Ching) changed the successor to the third prince, Xuanye, who subsequently becomes the Kangxi Emperor (Chan). Angry with this, Fuquan dispatchs a spy, Nip Dor-po (Steven Ma), and instructs him to gain Kangxi’s trust.
