[ Backdated - Vacation Post]
Another backdated post, yes you’ll be seeing more backdated post now because I’m going to stop being lazy !!! Need to show you all the goodies I’ve tried out when I was in China! They have a lot of different varieties of Dim sum and dishes. Unlike in Canada, everywhere you go – it just seems to be the same dishes all the time. Don’t you all agree with me??
Restaurants in China hardly have English names to go with it and this one do!! This restaurant is call “Steam Hero”. You can see the address and number there (that’s if you can read the address in Chinese!! hehe)
Our table settings and look at the little small tea cups! There’s a waitress there serving us tea when the tea cups are empty. You’ll feel like your a queen if you were there! haha. I’m not joking. They serve the tea for you! You don’t even need to ask them to.
The Cha Siu Bao (Pork Chop Buns) was very fresh and delicious! I never tried such a fresh cha siu bao before. It tasted like it was made on the spot or something. Because usually the restaurant have it done a day or two days ahead? Plus I’m not a bun fan but this caught my attention!!
Pork foot? I believe its what you call it. I didn’t try this but the presentation of it looks pretty good. Do you eat these?
OH OH OH! Can you guess what this is?? IF your a DURIAN lover, you would of love this!! I had to order a second plate I tell you!. It was too amazingly good! This is the best durian dish I ever ate in my life. Well it’s because I don’t have a chance to eat any in Toronto (you must be wondering why eh? Because my Fiance’s family don’t eat it and it would stink up the whole house) and eating too much durian is not too good for the health. ALL in all, I LOVE IT!
This is either called “fried meat cake or fried seafood cake.” Don’t really remember. But it was delicious! Freshly made.
Chicken Rice Noodles. Another yummy dish!
Siu Mai. Nothing special to me because I have it all the time!
This was the last dish we had. I don’t know how to translate this dish or even put it into English. You can ask me about it and I can say it in Chinese
But this was freshly made as well! DELICIOUSLY GOOD!
Do you have Chinese food often ?? I have it half the time of the month, it’s usually mixed with different cuisines because I live in Toronto, there’s just so much choices to choose from! I enjoy pretty much every cuisine. Especially, Japanese food! What about you? What’s your favorite cuisine you enjoy? Comment below to tell me!
